Vice City is the urban core of Leonida and the place most of the marketing has centered on. Where the 2002 game was a period piece, this version is set in the present day, so expect the beach strip and Art Deco blocks alongside towers, clubs and social-media excess.
Rockstar's own descriptions frame it as the sun-and-fun capital of America, a city that seasonal visitors flood every winter. Several supporting characters, including Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest, are rooted in its music and nightlife scene.
